Mac Joy launched eight new games for Mac users running OS X. They are  easily played games with themes for all ages.  Mac Joy offers a wide range of variety, from classic Mario-style platform games, to action-packed brick busters. The titles include Bricks of Camelot, Bricks of Egypt, and Superstar Chefs.

I have been playing and enjoying three addictive games on Macs from Mac Joy Games. these downloadable games are easy to play and fall in love with. They have cute graphics, with a vast number of different level packs with each game.

Three brick attack games caught my eye. Very shiny! They have lots of explosions with pretty sparkly lights which appeals to the child at heart. Super Star Chefs has a variety of fruit, veggies and gems to gather up. The little chef makes the cutest little “eep!” sounds. There is also a satisfying jingle of of  cash register when you pick up gold coins too. This time waster is very funny.

Bricks of Camelot is an other one that I liked. It has castle stones and very nice celtic inspired art. My favorite thing was the eagles that dropped colored jewels. Various drops make the paddle larger or smaller, sticky or even shoot.

Bricks of Egypt is the latest one and it was good as well. In it you have pyramids and egyptian inspired art work. You get to blow up bricks with steel balls. The drops can give you a sudden screen filled with  them.

The games are inexpensive and include some upgrades. they are down loadable. The worked well on our newest machine. They aren’t friendly to those on the lower end of the minimum requirements and take lots of graphics muscle to run. I five them a 7.5
