No not the shades. The first episode I have seen in the new season of the View with Whoopi Goldberg featured Whoopi’s conversion to bra wearing. Previously Whoopi shunned bras in favor of a body suit which was a custom that I remember from growing up in the seventies. On the View Whoopi was fitted out with some tasteful choices to give her some defense against gravity, and under boob perspiration.

This weekend I was playing Tomb Raider Anniversary on the old PS2 and while I was checking out the gym in the Croft Mansion I noticed a big difference in Lara’s physique. She is wearing a damn sporty sports bra under her top. She has something of an under-wire going on there. There is a distinct “X” in the middle of her chest that you can imagine is the lift and separation of her new breast physics. Lara is a lady as well as a real athlete and she doesn’t jiggle like Kasumi from DoA.

This may be a response by the developers as a tacit acknowledgement of the millions of female gamers who complained about the un-reality of rock climbing with unfettered double D’s. You can’t put your dishes in the cupboard without those getting in your way, let alone climb mountains in Peru.

The tenth anniversary edition has many new touches and plenty of nostalgia in the full adherance to the original source material. Though Lara might have been chilly wearing shorts in the the snowy part of the first level, her famous rack now totally defies gravity as she backflips through more puzzles. Maybe the new bra was brought out since ten years in internet time would make her 50?

I may not have any talent in common with either Whoopi or Lara, except for cup size, but I am a non bra believer as well. Since I subscribe to every health care conspiracy theory I believe bras are one of the causes of cancer.
