Thompson Thrashed

Lunatic lawyer and self styled video game hater evangelist Jack Thompson, who has been a loud nemesis of Rockstar games is getting a taste of his own medicine with a disbarment trial. After prior charges of contempt a new case has been brought against Thompson. His right wing rhetoric has come back to bite him every time he snaps. The suit questions the lawyer’s conduct in cases related to the videogame industry. His request to have the case dismissed last week via a District Court suit against the Florida Bar and Judge Dava Tunis, was rejected.

Apparently, the Florida Bar wishes to see Thompson disbarred permanently, having rejected the lawyer’s offer of a 90 day suspension of his license to practice. The case opened Wednesday, the Florida Bar has set aside a week for the hearing.
