The numbers are in and once again Nintendo and Sony have topped the charts. Some of the results may be a bit surprising. Generally all my predictions have come true.
Nintendo DS Lite (Coral Pink)
The Nintendo DS outsold everything else. The DS and games for the DS lead the handheld war and the console war too. Then next in second place is, oh wait yes, it’s Nintendo again with the Wii. Games for the Wii topped the charts with Wii Sports, Wii Play and three Mario titles being in the top ten sellers this year. Another Mario, Pokemon and Nintendogs all made it into the top 20 giving them the lead across the board.
Wii Play (with Wii Remote)

Since the third place seller was the PSP, then the PS2. It seems like those wanting a DS that couldn’t get one bought a PSP or an inexpensive PS2. Fourth place goes to the PS2 in a surprising upset. It is the PS2 which outsold the PS3 this year. Finally in last place in world wide sales is the 360, seeing the Halo 3 bubble tapped out.
