gta4ps3bundle.jpgGTA IV is making plenty of news before it is even released later this month. According to one website in the UK major online stores struggling to meet pre-order demands. Play.com has sold out of its allocation GTA IV pre-orders. GAME and Gamestation online have put up a warning about stock running low.

Additionally a PlayStation bundle that is Grand Theft Auto IV themed could be in the works for US for release. Unfortunately Sony isn’t talking. However this photo apparently shows that the bundle is now being sold by one Swedish retailer, Webhallen, who has the bundle available with the game and a 40GB console. The new PlayStation 3 bundle will be launching in Europe alongside Grand Theft Auto IV.

GTA IV will have much anticipated online multiplayer. Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch modes will be included. Players will be able to pick teams cops, cars, weapons, with customization. Ranked and unranked matches will be available, and competitive games will see cash rewards for spending on in-game goodies. Cops ‘n’ Crooks and Hangman’s Noose will offer co-op play, too. A race mode, called GTA Race, will offer standard racing, spiced up with a little combat, and more car-jacking. GT mode will offer pure racing, if competitors so desire it.

“After players earn the cell phone in the single-player game (which takes about five minutes), if they want they can jump online and never even play the single-player again,” reveals Rockstar’s Jeronimo Barrera.
