Touchmaster 2 is another mini-game collection that is a sequel to Touchmaster which I reviewed last year. It contains a large variety of games. they are all different some are better than others. But as with any collection you may prefer different ones than some else who picks up the game. There are 20 games and they can even be sent to another players DS wirelessly and only one person has to have the cartridge. There’s a multiplayer mode, this time which was not in the first Touchmaster.
Touchmaster 2 games are things like card challenges, match-three puzzles, target shooting, and word search. There’s bowling, poker slide, carpet, combo 11, speed solitaire, triples, catwalk caper, billiards, beaned, super mahki, dice king, prismatixs, picture slide, rampage empire, view finder, scavenger, what is it, speed demon, spell winder, catacombs.
Touchmaster 2, is fun. It’s a good set of casual games that will appeal to most people. If you want a game that you can pop in the DS to play with a friend while you are planning to wait in line or for a movie to start, then this might fit the ticket. Game collections mean less little cartridges to worry about loosing when you want a variety of time wasters handy. It rewards you with a “trophy” system to fill up your trophy shelf.
Touchmaster 2 has improved over Touchmaster. There are fun games in both versions so it doesn’t cancel out the first one at all. It just gives you more to do if you are bored with the first one by now. I give Touchmaster 2 seven bowling pins out of ten.
