Over at AICN this morning they are breaking an exclusive scoup. They have confirmed that Sam Raimi is going to be directing the  WORLD OF WARCRAFT movie. This is a major step in the right direction to getting the project off the ground for real. The former Xena and Hercules director will be a good match for the sword and sorcery genre.  The game has an estimated built-in audience of 11 million people. It is going to be interesting to see how well the audience accepts the screen play and the execution of the huge geek favorite as a movie.
