The iPad arrived yesterday. It seems to live up to all the hype. The first thing I noticed was the resolution. It’s bright, even with the brightness turned down. The love I have had for my iPod these past few months has transferred to this device.  The iPad instantly made all the icons on iPod  look too tiny to be useful. I downloaded iBooks and bit the bullet to pay for Pages the App for writing. I’ll let you know if is worth the $9.99. But attempting to blog from windows these past few months had left me nothing short of crazy.
As I had guessed without the resistance from a keyboard my typing speed has increased exponentially which is a plus with arthritic gamers’ hands. So far the only two disappointments are the cost of iBooks in the iBook store. And my puppy won’t stand on the iPad for the cute photo to go with this first impressions review.
Well the iPad happies were short lived. The WordPress dashboard is not iPad compatible. The scroll bars are gone and it won’t let me upload an image. I’ll be damned if I have to go back to windows to blog. There must be work arounds for this.
