I downloaded the free App from Tap Tap Radiation for iPad. After a brief log in process to verify that it was me attempting to play from a new device.
There were a limited number of songs available. They all played on a touch pad of the same design. The swirling lights and patterns were very trippy. The glowing colors really show off the gorgeous colors that the iPad is capable of. Everything looks crisper and shiner due to the wonderful backlit iPad display.
I went back to Tap Tap Revenge and tried that on the 2x size. Though it was moderately pixelated it was really twice as much fun.
Each background changes depending on the artist. I added a Free Katy Perry song to my collection.
It’s easy enough to win coins and earn credits in the game so that you can customize your avatar. The credits are made by downloading pathetic dating Apps or boring utilities. You do need to be careful in case there are some of those ‘get five people to join’ scams in there too.
On the whole the Tap Tap party is definately on for iPad. The new App has a long way to go in terms of development. Though these guys have done such a great job in the passt with other games that I am expecting more from them. If you like glaring glitter bubbles and flashy lights you will love Tap Tap Radiation for iPad. I give it 8 sparkly balls out of 10.
