America's Future?

When I was young it was traditional for seekers to go on journeys to find elders who were willing to teach them healing and the Medicine Way. One of my teachers was an Ojibwa sacred medicine pipe carrier, who taught from Sun Bear. As the infamous leader of the Bear Tribe, Sun Bear made many predictions in his books. I have seen them come true over the past thirty years. I read The Medicine Wheel: Earth Astrology in the ’80′s. His most famous book was Black Dawn Bright Day. That book contained his maps of the earth as he foresaw it becoming, following what is called the Earth Changes. Here is a PDF with some of that information, and a few paragraphs about Sun Bear. The Ojibwa shaman Sun Bear 1929 – 1992, was the founder of the Bear tribe in Washington state. In his book Black Dawn Bright Day, Sun Bear gave warning of Earth Changes.

It is incredible to see all the predictions coming true. With the tornados, floods and earth quakes that have occurred recently, it looks like Sun Bear’s maps were all correct. Back in the early 1990′s when I was heavily involved in the metaphysical community I was constantly trying to encourage more people to read the Hopi Indian prophecies. At that time, those elders were trying to gain audience with our government to get them to enact better environmental laws, to curb nuclear proliferation, and healthier life styles. In general their message was that Americans needed to change their ways to avoid future problems with global warming. As we know now, no one was listening. In fact it took too many years for some people to believe that smog was going to cause devastation in time. Pollution would eventually change the normal weather patterns and lead to natural disasters. Now as weather has become more severe, we do see the droughts and floods as predicted.

According to Sun Bear, old Ojibwa pictographs, which were written on the earliest form of paper, birch bark scrolls, told this prophecy: “[Our great ancestors] saw the coming of the Europeans to this continent. They saw the kinds of hats they would be wearing. They saw how they would look and the kind of canoes they would have. They were told that if these people came in a sacred manner and accepted the knowledge that was given them by the people of this continent, then it would be a beautiful thing. We would walk as brothers and sisters on the land.

“It soon became obvious that the Europeans didn’t respect the sacred teachings of the land. Our prophecies said that if this happened, there would come a time when we would lie in the dust for 100 years or more as if we were dead. Even our own people wouldn’t respect our teachings, and both Native and non-Native people would fail to understand them. Some Natives would turn from the teachings and be lured away saying, ‘This is a better teaching.’ “Our prophecies also said that at the end of that 100 years, we would be walking on our hind legs again. We would be alive as if we were Earth spirits just reborn. We would stand up and have our power again. We would be able to call in the forces — the thunder and the lightning and the storms — and communicate with these powers all the time because this is part of our ancient knowledge. We would have these abilities again, and we would return to the sacred path. “At that time, our sons and daughters would again come to us and ask to be taught the sacred ways. And the sons and daughters of the people who had come across the great Water would come to us too. they would say, ‘teach us, for we are about to destroy the Earth.’

This is the stage we are at right now… “Another prophecy of my Native people speaks of a time when the Earth would hold back her increase: one area would be too wet; another too dry. One place would be too hot; another, too cold. this is what we are experiencing now… Another part of the prophecy states that the rivers will change their courses.” Sun Bear also described one of his Dreams of Destruction: “Over a period of time I have had many, many dreams that showed the coming of the Earth changes… One reason that I organized the Bear Tribe as a rural-base community was because I saw in my dreams major destruction coming to the cities. “I saw a time when the cities wouldn’t exist in their present state. During the changes the most dangerous places will be near cities with nuclear and chemical plants. But all major cities will experience a breakdown in services. In my dreams, I’ve seen great garbage piles on the streets, the electric service out of order because of storms…

“I also foresee race riots in the big cities, with street gangs engaged in uncontrolled fighting against each other, using guns to get what they want. When there is no money to pay their salaries, the police will not be there to protect the people in the city. Instead, in one of my dreams, I saw the police banded together in groups calling themselves the ‘Brothers of the Gun.’ They were using their guns to take whatever they wanted. This is already happening in other parts of the world… “I see the cities being hit by major epidemics caused by bad water, toxic chemicals, or other things… “In my dreams, I’ve also seen wheat crops that had rusted. They had candy-like clumps of rust, a serious disease that was destroying the crops. There were great black birds like crows or vultures, just waiting. With nothing left to eat, these birds were scavenging bodies as humans died… In my dreams I see diseases like this continuing to cause great destruction… “In my dreams I’ve also seen small bands of people living very close to the Earth. I saw that other people would come to join them, and they would embrace these newcomers. All they said to them was, ‘You have survived.’ There were no more ‘isms’ in the world — not Catholicism, not Communism, nothing. We were all just human beings living on the Earth in a sacred manner… “I see about one-fourth of the world’s population surviving. The stem rust fungus has infiltrated American crops. I saw it on plants as early as 2003. It is no exaggeration that the rust fungus is a threat to the food supply. Millions of dollars in wheat crops are also under water due to the floods in the south.

I personally fought so hard against the negative visions of the future from both Sun Bear and Gordon Michael Scallion all those years ago. We made attempts to change the future with the power of positive thinking. It seemed to have fallen on deaf ears. Now all those predictions have become so obvious that anyone can see it. Turning on the TV each day shows us how small bands of people, that Sun Bear mentions, are living in shelters around the globe and are managing to live in a new world without many of the necessities and conveniences that we have become accustomed to.

Here is a topic I would like to know more about or even see covered on Fact or Faked. Back in 1991 I remember watching a TV special about three circular metal plates with pictographs on them being found in a farmers field in Grasdorf Germany. Metal is material evidence. If something super natural did happen, metals can be studied intently for proof.

Since then the story has fallen completely off the paranormal radar. What interested me was that the quality of the metals being described as expensive and difficult of not impossible to reproduce. The pictographs them selves were quite interesting, and I’ve considered many different Celtic, Anglo Saxon, Oghams, Pictish and other extinct forms of writing to be close but not it.

What does give the story of the Grasdorf plates have less credence is that they were found below three sets of identical crop circles. Most crop circles that we have seen pictures of are faked. Grasdorf was one of, if not the first crop circle ever discovered. So it could be that it was the first and best hoax, which was later copy catted? Or is it that the first was the only real incident, where the gold, silver and bronze plates were brought up? Who can say now because the plates themselves have been taken into the custody of an unknown private collector.
Looking at the plates one might think of them as a star map. There looks to be a cluster on there of four stars. I couldn’t be the first one to think of the pictograms from the Grasdorf Plates as being a star map of the Trapezium Cluster am I? Studying the photos of the plates only seems to lead to more questions. Perhaps an astronomer could tell us more about the meaning of the pictographs.

If something other than present day humanity did create these plates, then just why was it so important to show us these designs, and what is their significance?

I would love to have the resources that the SyFy network has at their disposal when they send out the Fact or Faked team, they always have the newest cutting edge paranormal and engineering equipment to use. I would like to see radiation tests, and geology tests, ultra sound and dowsing results from that area. A night scan would be great for gathering even more information too.

Some of the background on the incident is that it happened July 22,1991 near Grasdorf in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony. The large German crop circle was not discovered until the next morning by people who were out jogging past the farm. The crop circle was said to be roughly 110 yards long by 55 yards wide. The whole pattern of circles were said to have covered an area of about 6,000 square feet. The pattern consisted of different seven symbols within thirteen circles. One pattern had attached an ‘x’ to the circle, which looks similar to many ancient symbols of the sun.

The location of the find could have archaeological significance. Nearby is the Thieberg, which was a “Thing” or an ancient Teutonic tribal sacred space. The historically rich area in the immediate vicinity is the Wuldenberg, which is an ancient Germanic Wotan sacred site. Like many pre christian sacred locations it was sacked and razed then a church was plopped on top of it by Charlemagne. The Holy Grove of the Teutons, which was fought over right into the Middle Ages, until a feudal lord gave the order to fell the sacred grove in 1273, he was murdered by the people of Grasdorf, and a small war was the result. The enchanted wood stayed untouched until the 19th century. This neo-pagan wonderland has the heritage of ancient Saxon heartland. The spirit of the land there remained alive far longer than in other places and resisted being christened. The grove of the Saxons, had been sacred for at least 4,000 years.

There is a report that someone named Christian Fiedler from Grasdorf had seen an orange colored, pulsing light, that night in the area in question.

The three metal plates were found there one an unusual type of bronze, a very pure silver and a very pure gold disk too. They were said to have been shown at an internationally UFO conference, “Dialogue with the Universe”, in Dusseldorf, Germany in October, 1992. Which I would like to see confirmation of, or clips of.

A piece on the Grasdorf case was made for for the US TV program, “Encounters” in April, 1994. In addition ot os said that:
“Tugingen lawyer, Dr Roemer-Blum, arranged a scientific evaluation at the German Federal Institute for Material Research (Bundesanstalt fur Materialpufung) in Berlin. Their conclusion, after carefully analyzing both plates was: “Plate one (silver color) consisted mainly of quite pure silver, with an additional ingredient accounting for less than 0.1%. The weight of the plate was 4.98kg (11lbs). Plate two (bronze color) consisted of a copper-tin alloy (of which the tin content amounted to 10%-15%), nickel and traces of iron amounting to less than 0.1%”.

Sources at the time reported the silver plate consisted of 99.9% pure silver, even purer than sterling-silver. A spectrographic analysis done of both plates proved that they had not been made from a cast but from some kind of conglomerate of silver nuggets and natural copper and tin pieces of the type found in Germany’s Harz forest, not far from Grasdorf. They had been produced, in an unusual fashion, that could not be determined at the time. Neew testing methods could certainly tell us more if the plates could be brought forward. Some theories of how they were created is by heating metal globs up to a degree that partially melted the metals, or they did it in a low-gravity environment. The gold plate was said to be made from some of the finest quality that had been seen by the examiner.

Normal is subjective. Para-normal isn’t the right word to use to describe phenomenon. Everything is normal. It is human judgment that makes things seem to be outside acceptable agreed upon judgements of normality. I watched a marathon of Fact or Faked Paranormal Investigation with Tech TV alumna <a title=”Chi Lan Lieu” href=”http://www.chilanlieu.com/index.html”>Chi-Lan Lieu</a>. Finally there was a show that seemed more realistic to me, than the obviously fake paranormal shows.

Phenomenon occur, according to the laws of nature and physics. Although sometimes the little known laws of physics like the principle of uncertainty, and the theory of everything come to bear with Phenomenon. Nature is one big harmonious wholistic system.

If spirits may are caught up in the environment beyond death, their presences can be attributed to quantum mechanics, electromagnetics, and the intuition of sensitive people and animals. None of this should be regarded as creepy, or un-natural. It is all part of life, tragedy and messy of deaths included. What isn’t normal is the western superstitions  surrounding death. <!–more–>

I view psychic intuition as a sort of lost muscle of the brain. To be psychic is to be a part of human nature. People who survived over the eons of time were the ones who lived and thrived. Those who had a bit of intuition and were correct about things like animal attacks, natural disasters and conflicts lived on. Giving all of us at least the genetic potential for psychic development.

Now it is common to hear that 50-90% of Americans believe in ghosts or some type of psychic phenomenon. After many yeas of doing thousands of telephone readings I felt that I had inadvertently come across my own  statistical deductions. If my clients were a sample of the population at the time, almost all of them had a ghost story to tell. Many of them also had stories abut how they had an intuitive moment of clarity that lead them to avoid a disaster themselves, or they had knowledge of a loved one who was in trouble.

The theme of this blog has always been “Truth is Stranger than Fiction” which I have always believed in. Even if it is the Eight Hermetic Principles that are used instead of the known laws of physics, there are always going to be more unanswered questions. Yesterdays science fiction, is today’s science fact. Things that we take for granted now were quite different at one time. In my life time my parents technological peak was the color TV, and my grandparents was a Model T.

When I was a kid I foresaw that someday my lite brite and my etcha sketch would one day be an iPad. It must have sounded pretty weird to the adults I told about it. Other kids were dreaming up jet packs and hover boards. I was stringing waxed thread across three backyards in 1967, and perching a huge HAM radio antenna (with Frank of course) on the roof of our parents house in anticipation of cell phones.

When I found out that at the end of his life Thomas Edison was attempting to invent an apparatus to detect the subtle sub atomic particles from the dead, I knew what kind of geek I was. I wasn’t alone. I want to believe.

Call it Geek Phenomenon. In September of 2010 I decided to expand this blog to include what ever I wanted to Geek On. I added editorials about appliances or home improvement as it happened. Along side that I was starting to witness another unexpected crossover.

In the 1990′s I worked in the AOL Online Campus where I taught courses in chat rooms. This was way back before the Word Wide Web. Everything took place inside the servers of that ISP. You would use a telephone to dial in to a node to connect. For some people a call to an online node might even be long distance incurring toll call fees to go online. Can you imagine?

In 1993 I began to teach my Psychic Development and Psychic Phenomenon courses which were very popular. Also at that time for some reason I began to get a mail order catalog for engineering tools. In it I discovered that there were items that I would love to try for psychic investigation, or ghost busting as I called it then. First I thought it would be advantageous to use an electromagnetic field detector. I had always felt that if spirits were coming through, that they would be detectible on some threshold of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Because people had always told me that along with their psychic experiences, that they had felt a cold chill. An array of thermometers would provide a baseline of temperatures inside a location as well as providing the data if there is a temperature fluctuation. Night vision camera, thermal camera, film camera. Audio enhancement software, and audio recording equipment.

That was my wish list. I imagined a rolling cart piled with all of this stuff. The cost back then, would have been astronomical too. You know what I am going to say next, there’s an App for that. Indeed there are. Both real and fakes. So that is my background.

Using these Geek tools for “Paranormal” investigation has spread like wildfire on TV. How did these people get the idea to use those tools? My theory is that my typed out, copyrighted, chat room courses on AOL became part of the collective information circulating online, and eventually made it into the main stream. It’s cool, who knows. What matters to me is what I do next.
